TheMathCompany revs up for growth with new Consumption practice, footprint and product expansion

Aims at building the industry’s first consumption specialist practice, pushing its presence in key markets, growing its senior leadership team, and strengthening Co.dx, their proprietary AI/ML platform

Chicago, United States, Aug 09, 2022:TheMathCompany, a global data analytics and data engineering firm that partners with Fortune 500 and equivalent companies to enhance their analytical capabilities, is boosting expansion and strengthening its technology and offerings further. Earlier this year, TheMathCompany secured funding of $50 million from Brighton Park Capital, a private equity firm that specializes in collaborating with growth-stage software, healthcare, and tech-enabled services businesses.

The companys focus will be on expanding in the US and EU markets and enhancing its next-generation proprietary AI/ML platform - Co.dx, which drives value for businesses through analytics at speed and scale.

Anuj Krishna, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, TheMathCompany said, “We are one of the fastest growing data & analytics firms and what has taken other organizations over a decade to grow to, we have accomplished that in just 5 years. Co.dx continues to be one of our significant differentiators in this journey to help enterprises scale and solve problems faster.”

TheMathCompany’s hybrid model unifies Co.dx with a comprehensive consulting approach to deliver custom, cutting-edge analytics and AI-driven assets, helping customers implement successful and strategic business decisions. Co.dx enables businesses to reduce time-to-value by over 50% and accelerate the data-to-decisions cycle.

Another key area of focus for the firm is growing its Consumption practice. TheMathCompany laid the foundation for the industry’s first Consumption specialist team in March 2021.

Talking about the practice, “There exists a glaring gap in the potential value and the realized value of analytics investments, and many organizations still face that challenge. One of the primary causes of this is poor consumption of solutions, which is what we have managed to solve for our clients by setting up the Consumption Specialist practice. The Consumption Specialists work with our existing Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Domain experts to create solutions that are highly consumed by blending the science of data with the art of design,” said Aditya Kumbakonam, Co-Founder & Chief Customer & Growth Officer, TheMathCompany.

Headquartered in Chicago, the company is also expanding its existing leadership team and making strategic investments in hiring partners, CXOs and senior leaders across geographies.

Sayandeb Banerjee, Co-founder and CEO, TheMathCompany said, “Our growth would not have been possible without the passion and dedication of our people. We will continue making significant investments towards hiring the right talent and bringing in industry experts to build deep domain expertise, best practices, and future-ready innovations.”

Founded in 2016 by industry leaders, Sayandeb Banerjee, Aditya Kumbakonam and Anuj Krishna, TheMathCompany employs over 1200+ data scientists, data engineers, consumption specialists and visualization experts. The company is a trusted partner to 50+ Fortune 500 and equivalent organizations across the CPG, Retail, Pharma, Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing and other industries in the US, UK, and EU.
